Automatic Tuition Payment

For your convenience, we will continue to offer an OPTIONAL automated tuition payment service to pay your ‘Iolani School tuition in the 2017-18 school year.

Families that utilized this service in the 2016-17 school year will automatically be continued into the next year unless written notification of cancellation is received by the Business Office.

How does it work?

Instead of writing and mailing a check; or logging onto your MyBackPack account, the amount due on your ‘Iolani School tuition statement is deducted from your bank account at a participating financial institution and paid automatically on the 25th or next business day of the statement month.

When will the Automatic Tuition Payments start?

If you selected the annual payment plan, your payment will be automatically deducted on July 25, 2017. Should you incur any additional charges during the school year, your bank account will be deducted on the 25th or next business day of that statement month.

If you selected the semester payment plan, your first payment will be automatically deducted on July 25, 2017, and your second payment will be deducted on December 26, 2017. Should you incur any additional charges during the school year, your bank account will be deducted on the 25th or next business day of that statement month.

If you selected the monthly payment plan, your payments will be automatically deducted on the 25th or next business day of that statement month starting with July 25, 2017 and ending on April 25, 2018.

Will I receive a statement?

Yes, you will continue to receive a statement detailing your tuition account balance.

Is it reliable?

Absolutely. All you have to do is make sure there are sufficient funds in your account. Automatic Tuition Payment (ATP) takes care of the payments whether you’re away on a trip or busy at home. Your bill is always paid.

Is it safe?

Definitely. You maintain complete control of payment authorization. Your regular bank statement and ‘Iolani’s monthly statements will show the exact amount paid to ‘Iolani School. If you have any questions, please call 943-2282.

How do I sign up?

Easy. Simply complete the Automatic Tuition Payment Agreement and include a check marked “VOID” or deposit slip (for savings accounts only) showing the complete account number and financial institution’s routing number to the Business Office.

Do I need to submit a new agreement every year?

No. This deduction will continue the following school year unless the Business Office is notified in writing that you no longer wish to participate in the automatic service, your child has graduated, or no longer attends ‘Iolani School.
