‘Iolani School is committed to enrolling qualified students from a wide range of experience and backgrounds. To that end, we support an extensive financial aid program to assist students in their desire to attend ‘Iolani School. While financial aid resources are limited, we make every effort to bring an ‘Iolani education within reach of all who wish to attend.
Financial need is the difference between family resources and the educational expenses of a student. We do not award scholarships based on academic, athletic or artistic merit. To determine a family's ability to pay tuition, we use School and Student Services by NAIS (SSS) in our financial aid process. The SSS analysis helps us to objectively determine what a family is able to contribute for educational expenses and is a critical component in our financial aid decision. Aid is granted on a yearly basis to families who show financial need and is renewable each year as long as the family completes the financial aid process in a timely manner and continues to qualify.
Beginning with the 2013-14 school year paper applications are no longer available. To apply for financial aid, you must complete the Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) online. Submit only one PFS, even if you have more than one child applying for aid. When parents are in a separated, divorced or unmarried situation, each must submit a separate PFS with required documents.
