‘Io Society

The ‘Io Society helps to preserve the things we hold most dear as we evolve to meet the needs of tomorrow's world.

In eight short years, the membership in the ‘Io Society -- ‘Iolani's annual giving leadership group -- has grown to nearly 1,000!

Collectively, these generous alumni, faculty, parents, and friends of ‘Iolani have contributed to enhanced opportunities for students across campus.

Members of the ‘Io Society make an unrestricted five-year pledge of $1,000 or more annually to the ‘Iolani Fund. Graduates from the last 10 years may join with a pledge of $250 annually.

In the most practical sense, members' five year pledges allow the school to better plan for the future. But how does that translate into a meaningful impact upon the school and our students?

The increased support provided by the ‘Io Society allows ‘Iolani to maintain small class sizes led by excellent teachers while keeping tuition increases as low as possible. It improves access to ‘Iolani for more families through increased financial aid and scholarship funding. It also fosters the growth of world-leading education programs -- like those within the Sullivan Center for Innovation and Leadership -- to ensure our students' college competitiveness and lifelong success.

‘Io Society levels, benefits and members

Membership in the ‘Io Society, the leadership group of the ‘Iolani Fund, helps shape the future of the school and the lives of the students it serves.

Members make a five-year pledge of $1,000 or more annually and enjoy the following benefits as a token of our gratitude.

The ‘Io Society is designed to increase unrestricted support to the school and is one of our biggest philanthropic opportunities. Members of the ‘Io Society make a five-year pledge of $1,000 or more annually to the ‘Iolani Fund (formerly the ‘Iolani Annual Fund).

The growth of the ‘Io Society is critically important because it provides the leadership that links some of ‘Iolani’s most cherished and longstanding values with a bold vision of how to best prepare our students for all that awaits them following graduation.

For more information on how you can join them as members, contact Mike Moses '93, Director of the Annual Fund at mmoses@iolani.org or (808) 943-2320.
