HOMECOMING: Friday's activities

October 28, 2011 - On Friday, the final day of Homecoming Week, several events were held on campus, including the Cheerfest, Faculty Games Fair, 1st Grade Raider Day, Homecoming football game, Ho‘olaule‘a, Burning of the "I" and Upper School dance.

The results from Cheerfest (and Thursday's Lip Sync Contest) will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 1.

The Raiders beat Damien, 38-3, in the Homecoming football game at Eddie Hamada Field.

The Ho‘olaule‘a events in the Lower Gym, included the presentation of the 2011-2012 Homecoming Court (Austin O'Leary, Ali Calhoun, Logan Yamamoto, Lauren Arakawa, Alden Wong, Crista Nishimoto, Frank Heggeness, Taylor Tamura, Luke Horner, Dayna Rauliuk) and entertainment by the ‘Iolani Dance Team, Halau ‘Iolani, and Stage Band III.

The Burning of the "I" celebrated its 50th Anniversary in the Center Courtyard and was followed by the Homecoming dance in the Lower Gym (pictured below).
