Math team dominates fourth meet
Ricky Chai '14, Adam Fong, '13 and Michael Mow '13 each finished with perfect scores, propelling the Raiders to 284 points. Kamehameha Schools-Kapālama was second with 209 points, followed by Punahou School (203) and McKinley High School (153).
The other team members were Arnold Chang '13, Nikolai Chen '14, Logan Davis '13, Chanelle Huang '14, Courtney Kobata '13, Rachael Ridao '14 and Ethan Vo '15.
'Iolani has now won 44 consecutive varsity math competitions and holds a comfortable lead in this year's overall standings.
'Iolani's JV team of Stephanie Adaniya '16, Jason Kwock '15, Kaishu Mason '16 and Kaitlyn Takata '16 also took first-place at Meet 4 with 82 points. Punahou was second with 58 points, followed by Kamehameha (56) and McKinley (50). The JV Raiders are now tied with Punahou for first place in the overall standings.
Meet 5 will be held on Feb. 9 at Radford High School.
