CLASS OF 2014 PARENT NIGHT OUT!

CAREER SHADOWS PROGRAM

Mentor a Junior student and help them gain insight to your meaningful and rewarding careers.

As part of the process of identifying colleges and majors, ‘Iolani School juniors have the opportunity to participate in the Career Shadows Program (CSP).  For over 20 years, the CSP has allowed students to spend valuable time with professionals in their work environment.  CSP is sponsored by the Office of College Counseling and the ‘Iolani School ‘Ohana.

To indicate your interest mentoring Juniors, click HERE to download a Mentor Info form.  Send the completed form and direct any questions to careershadows [at] iolani [dot] org

Mahalo!

Aloha and Welcome Class of 2014 Parents!

This is an exciting year for our Juniors!  Click HERE for  a “year at a glance” for your planning purposes and we will do our best to keep you updated.  Parent involvement is crucial this year!  Involvement during the first semester is minimal, but that’s because we are conserving your energy for the second semester!

We will need all hands on deck for the Junior Malasada booth at the ‘Iolani Fair, April 19 - 20, 2013 and then once again during the preparation and stage decoration for graduation Seniors, June 1, 2013.

Our parent ‘Ohana gathering is tentatively scheduled with the Junior Class Luau/Ring Distribution on March 9, 2013.  However, if our Juniors decide on a Fall Class dance we will try to coordinate a Parent ‘Ohana gathering on that same evening.

If you have suggestions, questions, or simply want to volunteer please do not hesitate to contact either one of us.  When you receive the `Iolani News and Links please, click on the Class of 2014 'Ohana webpage periodically to stay in touch with Junior Class events.

In no time our Juniors will be graduating Seniors.  If you want to get a head start on fundraising for senior year expenses, click HERE.  These next two years will fly, let’s stay connected, stay involved, and most importantly savor every moment!

Mahalo,
