PARENT ONLY SOCIAL: MARCH 22, 2013
We survived three quarters of school with our Sophomore children and only have one quarter left in the school year so let's celebrate!! Our class of 2015 Parent Only social will be held this coming Friday, March 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at Aloha Beer Company (580 N. Nimitz Hwy--next to the old Sam Choy's Breakfast, Lunch, and Crab). Come join us for pupu, drinks, live entertainment, and a chance to mingle with other Class of 2015 parents! Submit your RSVP (click here) by Wednesday at Noon (or sooner).
FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!
If you have not yet signed up to work a shift for the upcoming 'Iolani Fair, please do so by going to www.iolanifair.org or replying to this email. If you are not available to work a shift, please let the fair office know by emailing fair [at] iolani [dot] org. Our class Manpower rep will be calling those that have not yet signed up to work a shift starting this Wednesday.
CO-CHAIRS NEEDED FOR NEXT SCHOOL YEAR
1) We are looking for co-chairs for the overall fair next year. Jennifer Soriano has graciously agreed to co-chair the fair next year so we need at least one more dedicated parent to help. If you are interested, please let us know as soon as possible.
2) We are also looking for 'Ohana representatives for next year. It's easier if two people volunteer to work together so if you're interested and you know somone that you work well with, let us know and we'll get you both signed up.

SOPH SERVED: CLASS T-SHIRT ORDERS DUE OCTOBER 3RD
Homecoming is only a few weeks away so we need to order the class t-shirts soon! The order forms were sent out via homerooms today and we'll only have about a week before the deadline. Please complete the form and submit with payment to your child's homeroom teacher by October 3rd. Check payments requested. Click here for the order form.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
Only a month has passed since the first day of school, but doesn't it seem like so long ago?! Well, before your lives get busier by the minute, our class needs parent volunteers to help with the upcoming 'Iolani Fair (Baseball and Malasada Booths) and Senior Graduation. Don't worry...you'll just be a "Shadow" this year, but we need to learn the ropes from our Junior class for the next school year. We're looking for at least 17 committed, dedicated, energetic Sophomore parents to help. (Two for Fair Baseball Booth shadows, ten for Malasada Booth support, and five for Senior Graduation committee shadows.) Did we mention it's a great way to meet other parents and get involved?! BACK TO SCHOOL: 'OHANA MOVIE NIGHT - AUGUST 24TH
Can you believe summer break is almost over and school will be back in
session soon? To celebrate the start of a new school
year, the entire family is invited to our "Back to School" 'Ohana movie
night. We'll be watching "The Hunger Games" (Rated PG-13), and for the younger
siblings, we'll have "The Big Miracle" (Rated PG) available in the Faculty Lounge.
