8th Grade Dance - postponed!!

The 8th grade dance has been postponed.  The dance was supposed to be held this Saturday, March 9th, but will be rescheduled to after Spring Break.  Please let your children know.

GR8 Day - Monday, March 25, 2013

Coming soon...GR8 Day, Monday, March 25, 2013 for our 8th graders. 

For some years, the 8th grade teachers felt that 8th graders needed some down time like they had in 7th grade.  They came up with GR8 Day and last year was the first year.  GR8 day is designed to develop and foster team bonding and class relationships with different activities where small teams of students interact with one another in fun learning situations. 

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to help out that day & also to bring desserts!  Such a quick response. 

For the parents helping, please come to I-205 at 11:30am to help take the desserts down to the lunch area.  Please let the parking security know that you are there for GR8 day.

For the parents donating desserts, you can drop off your desserts at I-205 from 7am - 7:45am.

Thank you all for helping to make this event fun and successful for our children!

'Iolani Fair

Please don't forget to sign up for our 'Iolani Fair on Friday, April 19th & Saturday, April 20th.  This is sure to be a fun event for all!!

Class T-shirts - Order Now!!!  Deadline is Wednesday, October 10.

Our class tshirts are available to order...this year, our shirts will be red and available in short or long sleeve.  Thanks to Erin Carson for designing this year's shirt! 

Order forms will be sent home through your child's homeroom teacher starting on Friday.  Order forms and payments will also be collected by their homeroom teacher.  Deadline is Wednesday, October 10.

Thank you to Kelly Carson who has again volunteered to be our class t-shirt chair.  Everyone loves the class shirts that we have had in the past! 

Class of 2017 - Family Social - Thank you!

Many thanks to Aubrey Hawk & Donna LeDuc for organizing our 8th grade family social that was held this past Sunday! 

Families enjoyed lunch and desserts at the senior benches.  The 8th graders then had a donut eating contest & water balloon toss before heading to the pool.

Class Day - Friday, October 5th

8th grade will be having at day at the beach of Friday, Ocober 5th.   The class will be catching the bus from school and going to Kailua Beach.  Please pack a brownbag lunch for your child.  No body, boogie, or surfboards will be allowed.
