This webpage is your link to ‘Iolani ‘Ohana events and a way for Class of 2024 parents stay connected. Check back often as we will post information regarding ‘Ohana events and activities. We hope your ‘Iolani experience will be as meaningful for you as it is for your child.

IMPORTANT DATES & REMINDERS
Snooze in the Zoo (May 25): For those who have signed up for one of the dates, forms were e-mailed. The normal rate is $80/person for non-members; $65/person for members, but the zoo is giving us a special rate of $55/person. Children under 3 are free. Rate includes dinner, night tour, campfire s'mores, breakfast and morning tour. If you did not sign up yet, but are interested, send Lisa Oshiro-Tamura an e-mail with your preferred date and the number of persons attending. Field Day: Wednesday, May 29th (9:00 am - 1:15 pm). Field trip to the Honolulu Zoo (until 11:30 am). Lunch and games (approx. 1 hour) at Kapiolani Park to follow. All family members are invited to attend. Admission for our 1st graders will be covered by the school, but the cost is $8 for adults and $2 for children 6-12 years of age, or you may use your Honolulu Zoo membership. You may bring your own lunch or order lunch from Sodexo. Please click on the link to RSVP for this event and lunch Field Day RSVP & Lunch Order Form and submit your money to Robyn Ide (1-Makai) by Tuesday, May 21st.
PE Schedule: 1-Mauka: Ants (Mon./Fri.) & Bees (Wed/Fri.). 1-Makai: Cardinals (Wed./Thu.) & Doves (Thu./Fri.). Swimming has begun in PE (March 25 - May 24): Ants - Mondays; Bees and Cardinals - Wednesdays; and Doves - Fridays.
Last Day of School: School ends at 11:00 am. There will be no autoline pick up due to construction on Date Street. Please park at Kaimuki High School and walk to the autoline area to meet your child. Supervision will end at Noon.
First Grade Website: Class calendar and monthly newsletter are posted to this website. Go to tinyurl.com/grade1news and enter your username and password that were sent home. If you are logged into your own Google account, you will need to log off in order to access the first grade website.
