Stage Band 1* - Open to students in grades nine through twelve with experience in saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, drum set or piano, the course includes beginning jazz techniques and the basics of improvisation. This course may be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: consent of instructor. Enrollment is limited.
Stage Band 2* - This is a continuation of Stage Band I. More emphasis is placed on performance and improvisation. This course may be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: consent of instructor. Enrollment is limited.
Stage Band 3* - This is a continuation of Stage Band II. Continued emphasis is placed on performance, jazz techniques and improvisation. Prerequisite: consent of instructor. Enrollment is limited.
* There are performance requirements throughout the academic year.
