Advanced Creative Writing

Ms. Stewart-Ito

Advanced Creative Writing provides a forum for serious writers to polish and focus their work.  In the first quarter, students write poetry, narratives, and short plays.  In the second quarter, students choose two to three different genres upon which to focus, and prepare an extensive portfolio that includes drafts and polished final pieces.  In both quarters, students will be responsible for the course vocabulary and the 11th-12th grades general electives vocabulary.
