Father Bray Game

The 44th annual Father Kenneth A. Bray game was held on Saturday, August 18 at Aloha Stadium. The double header football game featured Pac-Five against Radford followed by 'Iolani versus Kaiser.

A reception for alumni and their families was also held under a tent near Gate 5. The event featured hot-off-the-grill steak and chicken, as well as entertainment by Hoku-award winning musician Weldon Kekauoha. This was the first year that the reception was moved to the open air location.

Four revered members of the 'Iolani community were honored at the reception and during the half time show of the 'Iolani-Kaiser Game. The Father Bray honorees included longtime athletic office secretary Jo Okumoto, Roy Nishioka '55, Hugh Yoshida '58, and Walter Wong '51.

The half time show also featured 'Iolani's dynamic dance team and marching band. Ashley Higa '08 sang the national anthem prior to the game. Go Raiders!
