Kawamura ’93 and His Wife Overcome Mystery Disease

Chad Kawamura ’93 was newly married to Jennifer Nguyen when a mysterious medical condition forced Jennifer to undergo surgery to save her life.  Through it all, their relationship grew stronger.  The couple’s love story was featured in the Honolulu Advertiser, their medical situation was highlighted on an ABC Primetime special called Medical Mysteries.  (Honolulu Advertiser – January 7, 2007)

Could the Cougs and Low ’03 Win The National Title? SI Thinks So.

Sports Illustrated writer Grant Wahl has offered up eight teams that could win the men’s basketball national title come April.  Among them is the Washington State Cougars, led by Derrick Low ’03.  Wahl says the Cougs’ defense, along with a more potent offense, might just get them to the promised land.  (www.cnnsi.com – January 10, 2007)

Shoji ’06 Fitting in Nicely With Cardinal
