Elliot Kalauawa '71 Featured as Top Doc

Dr. Elliot Kalauawa '71, Medical Director of the Waikiki Health Center, has dedicated his life to providing medical attention to the diverse patient base of the community clinic.  Pacific Business News recently featured him as a Top Physician. 

Dignam ’02 Returns to Soccer Field for HPU

After winning four letters in track and field at the University of Washington, graduate student Lauren Dignam ’02 has returned to the soccer field for the new Hawaii Pacific University Women’s Soccer Team.  (Honolulu Advertiser – September 27, 2006)

Lawson ’04 and Langley ’06 Get on Scoring Sheet

Westmont striker Amy Lawson ’04 earned Conference Player of the Week honors after scoring three goals in a game against Menlo.  Swarthmore freshman Dylan Langley scored his first collegiate goal in an 8-1 romp of Delaware State.  (Honolulu Star-Bulletin – September 29, 2006)

The Brothers Ka’aihue Make Winter League Debut

Kila ’02 and Kala ’03 Ka’aihue have returned to the islands along with 110 other minor league prospects to play in the re-born Hawaii Winter Baseball League.  Kila is in the Royals system, while Kala is in the Braves organization.  (Honolulu Advertiser – September 29, 2006)

Pape ’05 and Caires ’06 Garner Honors

Colorado School of Mines sophomore Kyle Pape ’05 was named to the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Preseason East Division team after a stellar freshman campaign.  Meanwhile, at NYU, Lucy Dolly Caires ’06 has made an early impression, being named to the d3kicks.com Team of the Week last week.  (Honolulu Advertiser – October 4, 2006)
