December 6, 2008
by Al Linsky
The 'Iolani Chorus is made up of about 150 students and is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, in the country.

Hokuloa is a subset of the chorus made up of some of the stronger singers and led by Mr. John Alexander.
Hokuloa performs itsChristmas program frequently around the community with shows already given at IHS, Waikiki Beach Marriot and recently at Ward Centre.
Upcoming performances will be at Oahu Country Club and Arcadia.
On Friday, December 19 at 7:30 p.m. the Hokuloa Singers will join the full chorus for 'Iolani's annual Christmas concert at St. Andrew's Cathedral. This concert is free of charge with free parking, and the music which includes favorites like "Carol of the Bells" and "Baby, It's Cold Outside", as well as 15th century carols, is always superb.
