A group of 60 Iolani Band musicians and dancers, along with 40 parents and chaperones will be traveling to Sydney, Australia during the school's spring break.
They will depart Honolulu on Saturday, March 18 and will arrive back in Honolulu on Saturday, March 25. The group will be staying at the Avillion Hotel in Sydney for the duration of the trip. Plans call for an exchange with Killara High School on Monday afternoon, March 20. On the evening of Thursday, March 28, they will perform at the Sydney Opera House. During the course of their stay, they will visit most of the tourist spots in Sydney, such as Taronga Zoo, Bondi Beach, Sydney Aquarium and various other places.
