Five 'Iolani students on February 14 participated in the annual Calabash Theatre Festival at the University of Hawai`i at Manoa. Students were treated to workshops in Stage Combat, Improvisation, Set Design, Lighting Design, Commedia dell'Arte, Modern Dance, Film Acting, Costuming, Voice, Jin Ju, and Playwrighting, led by University Professors and Graduate students.
Kara McGinnis, Claire Mosteller, Jaimie Fong, Calvin Chan, and Tiffany Li attended the workshops, then performed two entertaining improvisation games for the entire assembly. Over 125 students from six different schools particpated.
