Karynna Asao '06 is one of the winners of the Honolulu Symphony's Concerto Competition.
She will be performing the Allegro movement of Schumann's Piano Concerto in A minor with the orchestra on Saturday, March 25 at the Blaisdell Concert Hall.
Stephanie Lum '12 along with Maryknoll's Elvira Zhang were the 1st Alternates as they performed together Poulenc's Concerto in D Major for Two Pianos.
Because one of the winners will not be able to perform on March 25th, the piano duo will also be on the program.
