Varsity Girls Soccer Shut Out MPI, 3-0

If you missed the first ten minutes of this game, well, all I can say is you missed some of the best, most exciting soccer around.
At about two minutes, Jesi Sasaki came in on the right side, got close and shot hard to the low far corner. 1-0 Raiders.
Two minutes later, it was Jesi again, this time making it look like a breakaway, except there were players all around her. She got all the way to the keeper, one on one, gave her a fake that opened up the net completely and made it look easy with a right foot tap into the left corner. 2-0 Raiders.
By this time, the MPI defense was understandably all over Jesi. So what does she do? She comes streaking down the right hand side, makes a perfect cross in front to an attacking Nicole Ha. Nicole picked it out of the air and placed a perfect header past the harried MPI goal tender. 3-0 Raiders.
There would be no other goals, although the Raiders were able to sustain the pressure throughout the whole game with most of the game played in the MPI half of the field.
