'Iolani Varsity Girls Basketball Falls To Punahou, 58-29

Having beaten the Puns at home, and the Warriors both home and away, this team has won some big games.
The Raiders' one loss had come at the hands of the Lancers who had one of those great shooting days.
The Puns' only loss was to the Raiders.
So this game was for first place and was at Punahou. In the past, this setup has not worked out well for the Raiders. I remember a few times where the Raiders won the first meeting at home and then lost pretty badly away, so I had concerns about this game.
My concern was not unfounded as the Puns ran out to a 10-0 lead and never looked back. The Puns were flying, stealing passes, outrebounding, hitting close in shots and hitting three pointers while the Raiders were having trouble executing.
It was 11-22 at the half, 20-35 after three, and 29-58 at the end. The Raiders now fall to second place behind the Puns.
Games left are against Sacred Hearts, MPI, Kamehameha, Punahou, and Sacred Hearts and MPI again, so there is still time for the standings to change.
