Int. Polo Prevails

It was starting to look like a blowout as the Raiders had scored 2 by 3:26 of the first quarter. In the second quarter, they added 4 more at 4:06, 3:35, 2:53 and 1:31.
Le Jardin, though, did not give up, scoring one just before the half to give them some confidence. The Raiders, though, answered with 2 more, one at :47 and the other at :08.
Le Jardin played even harder in response, scoring the first two of the third quarter, one at 3:16, the other at 2:20.
The two teams then traded goals. The Raiders made it 9-3 at 1:34, before Le Jardin answered right back at 1:09 to make it 9-4.
The play was now pretty even so it was a good thing the Raiders got that big lead. At 3:59 of the fourth quarter, it went to 9-5. 27 seconds later the Raiders got that one back, 10-5. Le Jardin still didn't back down and got the last goal 1:09 to make it 10-6, Raiders.
I believe this team is undefeated with the ILH Intermediate tournament right around the corner, next week Monday and Wednesday, at Punahou Pool. It should be fun!
