Intermediate Black V-Ball Defeat La Pietra

The Intermediate Blacks took control right from the start and never gave it up.
The first two games, the ones that counted, were over fairly quickly, with scores of 25-8 and 25-7. Those scores give a good idea of the dominance displayed.
In the intermediate division a third game is always played, even if one team wins the first two games as in this case.
This gives more kids a chance to play. In the third game, the Raiders continued their strong play and won 25-16.

'Iolani Red Lose In 3 To Kamehameha White

From this fan's perspective, the Intermediate Red match against Kamehameha White was the kind of match that everyone loves to watch.
Two evenly matched teams going at it with the momentum switching back forth is what it's all about, and these two teams provided it big time.
The first game was as close as can be with the Reds squeaking out the win at 18-16 with the 15 minute time limit expiring.
The second game also hit the 15 minute time limit with the Whites pulling ahead at the end, 21-16.
The third game, again, hit the 15 minute time limit. It was tied at 12-12 before the Whites got a few to win it 16-13.
Yes, it was a loss, but this was an exciting, fun match for all who played and had the good fortune to be there!
