Girls Int. Soccer Wins

The Black and Red Intermediate teams played in adjacent fields at Kapiolani Park yesterday. It was so dark that I was worried that whoever I covered second would have much poorer light. But, the Black team started first so they got the nod.
During the first 20 minutes, the Lady Raiders totally dominated play with the ball in front of the Pac-5 goal constantly, but no goals. Then Pac-5 got one good shot. 1-0, Pac-5.
The Lady Raiders came right back as Kelsey Matsuoka swooped in on the right side, got off a strong left footed shot and tied it, 1-1. Kelsey would score again, as would Monique Ishikawa for a well earned 3-1 victory.
