Intermediate Girls Tennis Defeats University, 5-0

It was a bit cool, a little windy, but overall a great day for tennis at the Iolani Tennis Complex on Monday December 11. University was fielding its first girls intermediate tennis team, so no one had any idea how good they might be.
Coach Alison continued on her quest to have more girls playing in the matches, so the lineup was quite a bit different once again.
As I walked around checking out the progress of each match, it became obvious that none of the matches would be close.
As it turned out, University, although they were giving it their all out effort, just did not have enough skill or experience to stay with the Lady Raiders on this day. The final score of 5-0 tells the story well as not one match was any closer than 10-1.
The match was over by 5:00 p.m. which gave the girls some time for talk and team bonding. It's obvious how close this team has become.
