Six Iolani varsity football players were honored with First Team All-Star status in Tuesday's Honolulu Advertiser, and Coach Wendell Look was named Coach of the Year.
Robbie Lopes, Micah Kalama and Kiran Kepo'o were named first team all-stars on offense.
Jon Takamura and Landon Patoc made first team defense, and Milo Kalama was named to the specialist team as kicker.
Under Look's guidance, the Raiders went to the finals of the State Championship in Division II.
Other Iolani players honored with second team mention were Cameron Petro-Sakuma, Travis Nishioka and Mike Hirokawa on offense and Samson Shigetomi and Milo Kalama on defense and punting.
Larry Maluotoga, Kekai Kealoha, Trevor Manu, Marcus Choy, Matt Beebe, Ed Fitzpatrick, Steve Franz, Chris Johnson and Blayne Yama received Honorable Mention.
