The Lady Raiders went down 1-2-3 to start the game. The Sacred Hearts pitcher looked good. This wouldn't be easy. 
Britney Guro started at pitcher and was able to escape a 2nd and 3rd, 2 out situation, when she forced a fly out to Ali Chu in right field.
The top of the second saw the Lady Raiders' bats heat up a bit, with singles by Kai Masutani and Ali Chu. Kelli Ann Lum hit a line drive to right to score Kaili Taniguchi who was pinch runner for Kai M. 1-0
Raiders! 1-2-3 for Sacred Hearts in the bottom of the second.
The top of the third saw no hits for the Raiders. In the bottom of the third, the Lancers led off with a single and then a stolen base. A single tied up the score. 1-1.
The top of the fourth was also a slow inning for the Raiders. The Lancers, though, got a double and took the lead on a passed ball. 2-1, Lancers.
The Raiders didn't trail for long, as Kaz reached first after being hit by a pitch. Lauren Oyadomari walked, 1st and 2nd, no outs! Great situation! Kylie Ahlo laid down a nice bunt. An error by the third baseman allows Kaz to score. 2-2! Tara Odo sacrificed, advancing Lauren and Kylie. 2nd and 3rd, 1 out. Kai then got a big hit up the middle, scoring Lauren and Kylie. 4-2! Jana Tokuhama moved Tara and Kai up, setting up 2 more runs when Kelli hit a shot to short that the shortstop bobbled. 6-2, Raiders!
The Lancers could only manage a walk in the bottom of the 5th. 
In the top of the 6th, Lauren singled to right, followed by a Tara Odo double. 7-2!
1-2-3 for Sacred Hearts.
The top of the 7th went 1-2-3 for the Raiders.
Last chance for Sacred Hearts, and they gave it a good try. A deep fly ball caught by Tara made it 1 out. A single up the middle gets the Lancers going. A blast to centerfield goes for a home run. 7-4! A walk puts another base runner on. A ground ball to short allows Kaz to get the lead runner at 2nd. 2 outs! A seeing eye single makes it 1st and 2nd. It's a bit tense. A ground ball to Lauren at third allows the force at third for the final out. 7-4 Raiders. This was a hard fought and clutch win!
