Varsity Boys Soccer Ties Kamehameha, 0-0
by Al Linsky
This was a BIG game.
The Warriors were on top of the ILH, undefeated through yesterday's game. The Raiders had lost once and were sitting in second place.

The weather was, well, rotten. There was off and on rain and it looked like it was getting worse, not better. The field would be slow and the wind was blowing hard.
In the first half, the Raiders had the wind at their backs and took advantage as they maintained a field position advantage from the opening gun.
But, no scoring. 0-0 at the half.
In the second half, the Warriors had the wind at their backs and they came out with a new found fire. All of a sudden the ball was staying in front of the Raiders net for extended periods of time.
The defense held, though, and the Warriors also couldn't score. The Raiders actually had the better scoring opportunities just missing on a few crosses.
With five minutes left, Ian Watson was red carded. This meant the Raiders would have to play short handed the rest of the way. The 10 vs 11 actually looked pretty even and the game ended in a scoreless tie.
