Gov. Linda Lingle has named eighteen people to a council that will advise her on ways to improve Hawaii's potential for innovation.
Among them is Dr. Mark Lindsay, 'Iolani physics teacher and founder and coach of the school's robotics team.
The Hawaii Innovation Council will work with state, federal, county and private groups to increase the economic impact of Hawaii's innovation resources, including technology research, development and product creation.
