‘Iolani School is one of 50 schools across the nation that received a 2007-08 Siemens Award for Advanced Placement from the Siemens Foundation and the College Board. The award recognizes ‘Iolani’s commitment to providing students with opportunities to explore the AP Program and the staff’s dedication to student success.
Established in 1998, the Siemens Awards for Advanced Placement exemplify the strong partnership between Siemens Foundation and the College Board to expand and strengthen the pool of math, science and technology talent that we will need for the continued growth of business and industry in the United States and globally. The award also comes with a $1,000 grant to support science and math education.
