'Iolani's annual May Day program, held in the gym on a special center stage, awed and amazed the entire school while conveying the warmth of the Aloha spirit.
The Oli was delivered by Jarren Nakamura '11 and Dyllon Sue '12 followed by all 1,800 plus students singing Hawai`i Pono`i.
The dances included La`ieikawai by the Lower School Wahine, a fun Laupahoehoe Hula by 'Iolani's Kane, Pua `A`ali`i by Dance 1, 2 and 3, E Ho`i Ke Aloha I Ni`ihau by Keiki Hula II, Ku`u Hoaloha by the after school halau, Little Brown Gal/My Little Grass Shack by teachers and staff, Maori Haka and Porineitia by the enthusiastic Polynesian Club, and a lovely Keiki O Ka Aina by the May Day Court.

The 'Iolani chorus, and soloist Brad Lawson, sang Keiki O Ka Aina which was composed by choral director John Alexander. The May Day Court's Dance was graceful and elegant as Queen Kodi Look danced a lovely solo around King Kamuela Johnson.
