"Celebrations" thru July 18

Color comes alive with each "Celebration" creation by our talented Lower School artists.  Using a variety of mediums, students were given assignments emphasizing different techniques.

The kindergarten display includes Hawaiiana rainbows as well as party hats.  First grade used oil pastels in creating their beautiful Van Gogh sunflowers.  A visiting artist taught the third graders gorgeous wool felting, and the fourth and fifth graders created large composition drawings as "celebrations with family and friends."  After-school ceramics is well represented in this show as well.

These beautiful works of art are on display at the Laser Eye Center of Hawaii in their Art of Vision Gallery through July 18, 2008.  Gallery hours are Monday - Friday from 10:00am to 4:00pm.  There is validated parking in the Pan Am Building, 1600 Kapiolani Boulevard, and the gallery is located in suite 105.
