9th Annual Boosters and Varsity Football Clinic
On Discoverers' Day students in grades 3-6 were able to unearth some fundamentals of football. Sponsored by the 'Iolani Boosters Club and the varsity football team, a clinic was conducted on the Eddie Hamada Field. Boys and girls had the opportunity to meet the team, learn the game of football, and have fun. The players interacted with Lower School students and were able to experience teaching and coaching the future stars of 'Iolani.
The clinic covered stretching exercises, offensive and defensive positions, and the kicking game. Children were able to apply what they learned to their flag football games. An All-American lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers with the players ended the day.
