Pumpkin Patch Arrives

A superfluity of pumpkins . . .
Yee-haw!  The Iolani kindergarten and first grade children celebrated the arrival of fall with the 19th Annual Pumpkin Patch.

Over three hundred hand-clapping, foot-stomping guests enjoyed watching their keiki square dance and belt out pumpkin songs.

The highlight, as always, was heading down to the "Pumpkin Patch" (aka Farmer and Mrs. Iwashita's yard) to see each child pick out an absolutely perfect pumpkin.

As Farmer Iwashita said, "This year's crop was good, but the kid's smiles were even better."

Our straw hats are off once again to the Teruya family and Armstrong Produce for their generous and loving donation!
