Last month's sixth grade camp experience at Mokuleia for the Class of 2014 was no different from those before -- exciting, fun-filled, and adventurous. Students enjoyed an overnight stay away from the rigors of the classroom and instead enjoyed relay games on the beach, ocean swims, aerial zip-line rides, team challenges, night-time crab hunts, a campfire and more. Cabin life, which offered time to hang out, eat snacks, and make new friends, was perhaps the best fun of all. Students' journals give rave reviews:
*Archery was the best. I got two bull's eyes in a row. (Allison)
*The zip line was crazy. I jumped off, and WOW, I thought I was Superman or something. (KJ)
*I like the biscuit, grilled cheese sandwich, and lemonade, but the best was staying up late and eating lots of candy and potato sticks (Taylor Ann and Kristen)
*There is just one word for camp -- FUN! (Melanie)
