Both the varsity and JV math teams placed first at meet two held at Roosevelt High this past Saturday.
The varsity, led by perfect scorer Truong Vu (11), scored 238 points to Roosevelt's 205, McKinley's 201 and Punahou's 171. The other team members were Jerrald Chau (12), Samuel Cheng (12), Lianne Ho (11), Grant Iwamoto (11), Scott Kaneshiro (12), Leslie Kim (12), Jessi Saylors (11), Robert Shimizu (12) and Jon Wong (11).
The JV team of William Chambers (10), Richard Chang (9), Victoria Kim (9) and Anders Lee (10) scored 98 points to Punahou's 80, McKinley's 73 and Kamehameha's 71.
Meet 3 will be held on November 17 at Aiea High.
