The team of Robert Shimizu, Aaron Fong and Scott Kaneshiro was honored at the mayor's office this past Friday for winning the State Math Bowl.
Each received the mayor's heartfelt congratulations and an award of merit issued by the city and county of Honolulu.
With them for the ceremony was math team guru, Mr. Michael Park who guided both the 'Iolani Mathematics team to its sixteenth straight championship and the four boys who competed for the State Math Bowl.
