The Hawaii Conservation Alliance Foundation, Hawaii Conservation Alliance and the Pacific Writers' Connection announced 25 winners of the "My Hawaii Story Project," based on writing about what makes Hawaii special. The work by sixth- through eighth-graders will be published in an anthology.
Among the winners are Quinn Cowan, Danielle Huang, Zeke Kearns, Allie Kim, Jason Loui, Alexandra Masaquel, Amane Morigami, Andrew Okimura and Lewe Stanaland of 'Iolani School.
