Traditionally, the seventh grade holds its elections for officers in the fall so that all the students new to 'Iolani have a chance to run and vote.
Last Thursday, September 27, all the seventh graders voted in their special election and selected the following members of the class to be their leaders for the 2007-08 school year:
President: Bradley Wo
Vice President: Josiah Situmeang
Secretary: Holly Harada
Treasurer: David Ling
Director of Student Activities, Mr. Kirk Uejio, praised the whole class for its participation in the electoral process and congratulated the winning candidates while expressing gratitude to all who ran.
