Raising Funds to Help

'Iolani School displayed the true meaning of "One Team" by raising money for disaster victims in the Samoan Islands, Philippines, and Indonesia.  Various groups of alumni and students worked together for this worthy cause.

A group of young alumni ran a face painting booth at the recent Homecoming Game where they collected money for the Red Cross.  It was a fun event with alumni from the classes of 2002-2006.  This was a time for the alumni to see each other, enjoy the football game, give back to the 'Iolani community and students, and raise money for a great cause.

The Red Cross club also collected boxes of clothing and undergarments for the disaster victims.  The club conducted the collection drive for several weeks throughout the upper school.

On November 12th, the upper school was treated to a delectable bake sale.

The Psychology Class, several 7th grade Geography classes, the Economics & Social Entrepreneurship classes, Filipino Club, Youth Leadership Club, Leo Club, and girls Varsity Tennis Team baked their hearts out to raise money for the Red Cross.  They sold everything from brownies, mochi, muddy buddies, party mix, cupcakes and more.

The combined efforts of all of these groups collected close to $3000 for disaster victims.
