The ‘Iolani School Communication Department is charged with sharing the stories of the school community.
The department supports the school's mission through strategic partnerships that provide consistent, accurate and effective communications reflecting the well-rounded lifelong experiences and far-reaching impacts of an 'Iolani education.
With creativity and a passion for producing excellent work, and through different media and communications, the department helps to convey the role the school plays in Hawaii, the nation, and the world. These goals are achieved through collaborating with other school departments, constituencies, the community, and the media.
The department is also responsible for promoting 'Iolani's image and brand through iolani.org, the 'Iolani School Bulletin magazine, other school publications and collaterals, social media, audio visual production, media and public relations, sound and video support and production, still and video photography, and other outlets.
The Communications Department is located in:
- Nangaku Office -- Room N-205 (publications and marketing collaterals, iolani.org, social media, photography, 'Iolani School Bulletin magazine)
- Media Services Office -- Makai end of Seto Hall (video and sound production, recording and editing; supporting faculty/student needs; and overseeing Seto Hall)
