FREE Summer Courses for Matriculating K-12 Students

‘Iolani School is ensuring all newly enrolled day students in kindergarten through 12th grade are Raider Ready! for the 2022-23 school year by offering free summer courses to prepare them to unlock their full potential.  The free classes are given in a student’s first summer as a new Raider to kick off their ‘Iolani career.

As the only independent school in Hawai‘i to offer this benefit, we are committed to supporting student success from enrollment to graduation. Our faculty cares deeply about each child and recognizes the benefits of getting to know them individually as soon as possible.

Nearly 300 new students will be offered the complimentary classes during this critical time when the COVID-19 pandemic and its mandates may have disrupted educational progress and experiences for many. Raider Ready! will strengthen skills in reading and mathematics to set a strong foundation for the year ahead.

Courses offer opportunities to meet and build relationships with other Raiders, and provide insights and guidance for succeeding at ‘Iolani School. Students become familiar with our campus layout, expectations, and dedicated faculty committed to each child’s social and academic growth.

Making friends is among the top priorities for youth, and enrollment in ‘Iolani summer programs proved an invaluable opportunity for participants to connect and build new friendships in their new school.

We look forward to welcoming you and your ‘ohana to ‘Iolani School in 2022 and hope you will take advantage of our free summer school experience. With our One Team spirit alive and well, this is just the beginning of more great things to come at ‘Iolani School.
