The mission of the ‘Iolani Alumni Association is to foster and enhance lifelong relationships among all alumni, guided by the principles and ideals of ‘Iolani School.

The ‘Iolani Alumni Association Board of Directors, elected by ‘Iolani School alumni, consists of 10 decade and 12 at-large directors. The decade directors include two directors from the 2010s, 2000s, 1990s, and 1980s, and one director each from 1970s and 2020s.

The 'Iolani Alumni Association Board of Directors serves as the elected leaders of the alumni community, serving as ambassadors for our alma mater and are involved in a variety of programs designed to connect alumni, and engage them with their alma mater. Directors contribute expertise, skills, and relationships to create innovative, engaging, and meaningful alumni programs that reflect the changing nature of how we interact in today's world. Board members also support a variety of virtual and in-person alumni events, building strong alumni communities domestically and internationally.

Serving as an IAA board member exposes you to the larger alumni community as you interact with fellow board members, reconnect with acquaintances, and meet new alumni at professional and social gatherings. Many board members find the experience fun-filled and provides opportunities to meet individuals they would otherwise never have met.
