How to Apply

Students and families who wish to be considered for enrollment at ‘Iolani School are welcome to apply. We hope to make the application process an enjoyable and fulfilling experience for all students.

APPLICATION PROCESS

For the 2022–23 academic year, ‘Iolani School will admit residential students in grades 9, 10 and 11.

Boarding applicants have the option to use either Ravenna or the Standard Application Online (SAO) for the application process. Click on either of the icons below to start the process.

BOARDING ADMISSION TIMELINE

August	August 1, 2021 -- Please apply to the Boarding program using either Ravenna or the SAO (Standard Application Online). Please use the links above. The SAO is not available for Day Admission applicants.
September-December	Campus tours available SSAT testing Character Skills Snapshot (optional) English Proficiency Testing -- TOEFL iBT, IELTS, or Duolingo English Test are required for applicants whose first language is not English. Schedule in-person or online interview (email: boarding@iolani.org)
January	Campus tours available January 15, 2022 -- Boarding application due January 31, 2022 -- Supporting documents due Last year's final report card This year's semester/trimester report card SSAT scores English Proficiency Test scores (if applicable) Two teacher reference reports January 31, 2022 -- Last day for online interview
March	March 10, 2022 -- Notification of boarding admission decision
