As the new Arrillaga Student Center will be adjacent to the ‘Iolani baseball field, the construction site will have a distinct impact on that field.

A portion of the mauka edge of the field and the area alongside the tennis courts will not be available for use throughout the entire construction project. Additional areas along the ewa and mauka sides also will not be available during the first four months of demolition/construction.

NOTE: In addition to the construction of the Arrillaga Student Center, Eddie Hamada Track is being resurfaced this summer. That work started on June 3 and is expect to completed in early August. While the track will not be useable during this time, it is expected to be fully functional before the start of the 2024-25 school year. The sidewalk between the Weinberg Building and the track will be accessible and serve as the only entry pathway to the baseball field for a few months. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
