We request that ALL parents activate and access their Veracross account. The Parent Portal will be a convenient way to access student, family, and school information such as your child’s report cards, course schedule, financial information, and school calendar. Additional features specific to student life and parent resources will continue to be added over the course of the school year. In addition, future re-enrollment will take place through the Parent Portal, so it is vital that all parents have access since all parents/guardians are required to sign their child’s contract.

You may logout of your account by clicking the small icon at the top of the screen, to the right of “Parent Portal.” You will then be shown a logout button.

1. From the Veracross landing page, click “Billing & Invoices” in the right sidebar
2. To view your invoice(s), click “View”
3. To set up AutoPay, click “Register for VCPay” and follow the instructions to set up automatic, recurring payments (see “How do I set up AutoPay?” for more details)
4. To make a one-time payment, click the green “Make a payment” button
5. In “Payment Amount” field(s), confirm amount(s), then click the green “Pay now” button

   • Note: If you wish to save your payment method for added convenience in making future payments, click “Pay using my Veracross Account” and follow the steps to add a payment account
7. Enter payment information and complete the payment process as prompted

Current charges are generally due by the last business day of the month. Families electing to go on AutoPay will have their tuition withdrawn on the 25th of each month (July - April). Please see your invoice for due dates of specific charges.

Yes, a late fee of $25 per month is assessed if payment is not received in full by the due date.

An ACH transfer is an electronic fund transfer made between banks and credit unions processed through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network. An e-check, or electronic check, is an electronic payment withdrawn from your checking account and is also transferred through the ACH network; an e-check is a type of ACH payment, and we use these terms interchangeably. You may make your tuition payment via e-check/ACH after logging in to your Veracross account and clicking Complete tuition payment. E-check/ACH payments are not assessed processing fees.

No. You do not need to save your preferred payment method. VCPay Wallet provides the option to save your preferred payment information so you don’t need to re-enter your information each time you need to make a payment.

Yes. When submitting your payment, change the Payment Amount and submit your payment with the first payment method. Return to the payment screen and either pay the remaining balance due or change the Payment Amount to submit with your subsequent payment method.  

Note: You cannot use more than one payment method on AutoPay.

Yes, if paying by credit card or debit card, a 2.61% processing fee is assessed on the amount charged.

Per IRS regulations, ‘Iolani School is required to report all cash payments in excess of $10,000 made in a single transaction, or two or more related transactions, to the IRS Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Please be advised that the receipt of cash in excess of $10,000 in a single transaction, or two or more related transactions, from the same person (or agent) received within a twelve (12) month period will be reported on Form 8300.

1. Click on Register for VCPay.

2. Click on Setup Accounts to add your preferred payment methods. Enter your bank account or credit card information.

3. Click on Setup AutoPay

4. Click on Select Account to select the payment method to process your AutoPay payment.  (Different payment methods may be used if more than one child is enrolled at the school, but only one payment method may be used per child per parent.)

5. Click on Save and Continue. AutoPay will be processed on the 25th or next business day of the month.

VCPay will process your payment on the 25th of each month. If the 25th falls on a weekend or holiday, VCPay will process your payment on the following business day.

No, an AutoPay Batch scheduled amount will not be processed if there is a Pending Payment amount showing on the batch, for that invoice.

No, unfortunately you are not able to cancel payment once submitted, so please double check all payment information before submitting.

When paying online via VCPay (e-check/ACH or credit card), you will see your payment reflected immediately on your summary page under Pending Payments. You will also receive a confirmation email titled, ‘Iolani School - Payment Pending. Successful payments will be posted to your invoice within 24-48 hours for credit card payments and within 3-5 business days for e-check/ACH payments.

If you use a payment method other than VCPay online, please allow 2-3 business days after receipt for our Business Office to process your payment.

Once you’ve logged into Veracross, you should be able to click the Magnus Health button. If this is not working, please contact ITS at helpdesk@iolani.org.  

Parents who have students who attended ‘Iolani prior to 2023 should be able to log in with your old Magnus Health credentials by logging in HERE. If you have difficulties logging in using your old Magnus Health credentials, please try to use the Veracross link.

Parents will receive weekly reminder emails, every Thursday, for health requirements due. The reminder emails will start eight weeks before the requirement is due and will end once the requirement has been fulfilled. For example, physical exams are due annually and expire 12 months from the date of the last exam. Reminder emails will begin eight weeks before the exam expires to give parents notification to schedule an appointment with their child’s pediatrician and upload the completed form to Magnus.

Forms must be submitted electronically:

• Upload a PDF or quality photo of the document directly to your child’s Magnus Health account. Please make sure the correct document is uploaded to the correct requirement, do NOT upload all documents to one section. For example, only the health form (physical exam form) is uploaded to the health form section.
• Hard copies of forms will NOT be accepted by ‘Iolani School.

For new families, we hide your information on our School Directory so you can control how your information is shown to other families at school. Please review your directory preferences: on the main menu of the Parent Portal, under My Household, click Update Directory Preferences.

On the main menu, under My Household, click Update Directory Preferences. Use the choices on the screen to manage your directory preferences.

If you updated them last year, you do not need to update them this year.

The Directory Preferences form will be available throughout the year to update as needed.

From the directory, click the button, “Students by Grade Level.”

Click on the button on the home page sidebar: Update Household Profile. Select the relevant link(s) in blue, then click the blue button: Edit. Once you have finished updating the relevant information, click the blue button: Save.

Changes will be reflected 1-2 weeks at most, depending on the volume that’s received.

On the Household Profile Update, find your child’s Contact Information section and click the “Edit” button to show the Ethnicity and Race options.

Regarding race, we're referring to broad categories that have been used historically for grouping individuals, e.g. Asian, Black/African American, White. These categories have been based on things like skin color, hair type, and facial features. It's important to know that race is more about the categories society has created rather than anything rooted in our biology. On the other hand, ethnicity has to do with the cultural connections we feel, including the country we're from, the languages we speak, and the traditions we cherish. Ethnicity refers to the cultural groups we identify with, not about how we look. Examples of ethnicities include Korean, Hawaiian, Puerto Rican or German.

We collect race and ethnicity data to better understand the diverse backgrounds of our school community. This information helps us identify trends and address the needs of all students more effectively. It informs our efforts to create an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported. Additionally, this data assists in reporting to organizations as part of our commitment to transparency and continuous improvement. Our goal is to use this information to enhance educational equity and ensure every student thrives.
